🌟 What an inspiration! The Juergen Dormann Foundation event brought together scholars from around the globe to Switzerland. What did we learn? Along with insights from our CEO Morten Wierod, Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer Karin Lepasoon (was Avasalu) and other senior ABB colleagues, we learned how our technologies drive sustainable development. We also learned that our JDF scholars are fearless, curious, and eager to make an impact! Their fresh perspectives and energy are something we can all learn from. The week-long event also included visits to one of out customer's site, our research labs, and the ETH labs in Zurich, capped off with a trip to the Swiss Alps. Advancing HVACR in Healthcare 🏥 The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for clean, fresh air in clinical settings. Upgrading to advanced heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems with variable speed drives (VSDs) can save up to 25% in energy use, improve air quality, and enhance patient outcomes. Maintaining high air quality in hospitals is crucial to minimize healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and ensure the safety of patients and staff. Advanced ventilation systems with VSDs are essential for meeting stringent regulatory standards and delivering the required air quality. By adopting these advanced systems, healthcare facilities can create safer, more efficient environments for patients and staff alike. Learn more in this article: https://ow.ly/H9XC50T556W
