Hou'an Rice Noodles is one of the most popular dishes in Hou'an Town, south China's Hainan Province. These delicate, tender, handmade rice noodles are cooked in chicken broth and feature slices of lean pork, soft-boiled eggs, chopped onion, chili peppers and fried shrimp that bring diners back to the tropical town for bowl after bowl after bowl.

Chinese video game "Black Myth: Wukong" has taken the gaming world by storm, selling over 10 million copies across all platforms by 9 p.m. on Friday, three days after its release on Tuesday morning, developer Game Science announced. #BlackMythWukong

The clip in the photo is a piece of bamboo, dating to the 1st century AD. It served as writing material in early Chinese civilization. Before the invention of paper, a book was a bunch of the same kind of clips bundled together with ropes made of ox hide. The characters written on it are from the "Spring and Autumn Annals," a book of history often attributed to Confucius, the Chinese thinker of antiquity. Archeologists discovered the object in a royal tomb from the Han Dynasty (202 BC–220 AD). It is on exhibition in the Nanchang Relic Museum for Haihun Principality of Han Dynasty, in east China's Jiangxi province. The "Annals" is one of the most important documents of the Confucianist classic. It is so important yet its wording so succinct that three books of commentary that elaborate on it have themselves been integrated into the Confucianist canon. Do you know what the absolute "king" of all symphonic instruments is in ancient China's court music? Check out the photo. This set of musical chimes is known in China as bianzhong. It often comes with a different number of bronze bells, which is associated with gentry. Noblemen could only own a certain number of them in strict accordance with their ranks. The set in the photo was likely forged between 620–427 BC, now part of the collection at Henan Museum. Bianzhong is the most important of all instruments that constitute an ancient Chinese court orchestra. It can produce sounds on different notes of solemn quality and meditative power. Therefore, it is a staple for court or religious ceremonies.
