Also: Category:Euromaidan in Kyiv by day

All sub-categories should be renamed; e.g. "Russo-Ukrainian War: March 10, 2022" to "Russo-Ukrainian War: 2022-03-12" Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:00, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, see same Category:Euromaidan in Kyiv by day. --Микола Василечко (talk) 20:40, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The same change should apply there. Also see Category:Ukraine photographs taken on 2022-03-10, Category:Photographs taken on 2022-03-10 and Category:2022-03-10. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 21:29, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Kommentar Category:Euromaidan in Kyiv by day added to this CfD. Josh (talk) 23:16, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Kommentar If we rename them, we can link them with the help of a very convenient navbox (an example). Sneeuwschaap (talk) 01:22, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support rename from 'MMM DD, YYYY' to 'YYYY-MM-DD' format as the more widely used date format (per Universality principle). Josh (talk) 09:48, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Russo-Ukrainian War: February 20, 2022Move to/Rename asCategory:Russo-Ukrainian War on 2022-02-20
Category:Euromaidan in Kyiv: November 22, 2013Move to/Rename asCategory:Euromaidan in Kyiv on 2013-11-22
regular format for date, above are examples; apply to all contents of Category:Russo-Ukrainian War by day and Category:Euromaidan in Kyiv by day.

Question @Pigsonthewing, Микола Василечко, and Sneeuwschaap: Any objections to the above proposal so we can close this CfD? Josh (talk) 01:30, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this change should be made. Clear consensus, and the ISO form of dates is standard for Commons categories. Someone needs to take on actually moving the categories, though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmabel (talk • contribs)
