Flickrwashed images. These photos are not the work of the Flickr user - they're mostly the works of non-US governments and military contractors.

@The Bushranger: Sure.
  1. I'd start with the Flickr user's photostream. It's pretty obvious that the photos are mostly, if not entirely, not his work.
  2. Most of them are U.S. military or NASA photos, so they're copyright-free, but they're misattributed to Robert Sullivan.
  3. But there were a couple of obvious 3rd party photos that don't belong to the U.S. government, [1], which belongs to DPA, and [2], a Selena Gomez selfie. You can see that the user is less than perfect with assigning the correct license to images.
  4. When you clicked on the file links, you probably saw that most of the photos had the metadata intact, with credit explicitly given to members of the Canadian armed forces. To my knowledge, the Canadian government does not release images to the public domain.
So we know that the Flickr user's image credit and licensing are not perfectly reliable, he has labeled copyrighted work as public domain, and that we have images that most likely come from copyrighted sources. Ytoyoda (talk) 04:41, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's a wrap, yep. Thanks. Delete, sadly. - The Bushranger (talk) 05:30, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
