I have over 6000 edits across many projects and languages. I consider Commons and Meta to be my second homes (with en.wiki being my first home), and participate in policy and other project discussions and votes here. I rarely actively seek out vandalism, but I always remove it whenever I see it. I am not able to write in any languages other than English without help of a translation tool, but I generally comprehend reading (in rank of comprehension) English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German, thus I can usually spot vandalism in more than one language. While Twinkle and some other script-based tools enable me to do basically the same thing (or directly editing an older revision), this is a cleaner option that is kinder to the servers, so it would be nice to be able to use this feature here. I'd like to have the tools to fight vandalism more effectively. I admit that I'm not that frequently online like other users due to my stressful real life, but when I see vandalism that hasn't been reverted after hours (for example in the IP's recent changes), or vandalism that hasn't been seen even after months, (yeah, unfortunately that exists), I wished I had some tool like rollback to fight this more effictively, with just pressing one button. I won't use this tool for controversial things, in such situations I'll either just undo the edit and explain my reasoning, or I'll talk to the user I intend to undo. Any suggestion for improvement of my editing here would be much appreciated. Thank you. --The Evil IP address (talk) 13:25, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here Kwj. I agree the user doesn't have many edits, but they do seem to have the necessary experience (rollbacker on two wikis). Apart from that, the user intends to be more active. I'm sure we can assume some good faith here Kwj and give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't see this request being controversial, IMO.
