Dr John Robert McPherson BSc.(Hons 1st class), PhD, AM (Member of the Order of Australia), Ecologist\Botanist, Life member of Spinal Life Australia & Queenslanders with Disability Network, working in the disability sector for over 34 years, who is an amateur photographer based in Brisbane, Australia.

When photographing, John has a habit of getting composition and exposure wrong, missing the critical moment, annoying people who do not wish to be photographed and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Undeterred by these trivial flaws he continues to enthusiastically take multitudes of photographs and thoroughly enjoys doing so.
