Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Kellergassen

Hallo Nxr-at, danke für die Bilder zu den burgenländischen Kellern. Ich brauche deine Unterstützung bei der Kategorisierung:

Bitte achte auf COM:OVERCAT, wenn etwas im Category:Uhudlerviertel Hochkogel liegt, dann liegt es qua Elternkategorisierung automatisch auch in Category:Eltendorf
Es wäre schön, wenn du die Fotos in den Kategoriebaum Category:Kellergassen in Burgenland einsortieren könntest.
Wenn du die Bilder über de:Liste der Kellergassen im Burgenland (kleiner Fotoapparat in der Fotospalte) hochlädst, dann landen deine Bilder hier und es wird automatisch der richtige Baustein für den Wettbewerb gesetzt, sonst darf ich dich bitten für Kellergasen den Baustein {{WikiDaheim|2017|at|topic=Kellergassen}} zu verwenden (deine Bilder landen sonst in dieser Wartungskategorie).

Danke für die Teilnahme bei WikiDaheim 2017 in Österreich!

Hallo Nxr-at!

Vielen Dank für Deine Teilnahme am Wettbewerb zu WikiDaheim! Von Ende Juli bis Anfang Oktober wurden so insgesamt mehr als 7.000 Bilder hochgeladen und viele Ort in Österreich in der Wikipedia und anderen Projekten mit neuen Bildern versehen, was nur dank der vielen Beiträge wie Deinem möglich war.

Die 561 besten Bilder wurden in den letzten Wochen von einer Vorjury ausgesucht, die Du dir hier anschauen kannst - vielleicht sind auch Bilder von Dir dabei! :-) Eine Jury wird nun bis Mitte November die zehn besten Bilder aussuchen, die Preisträger werden danach von uns verständigt.

Nochmals vielen Dank für Deine Beiträge. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Du auch in Zukunft die Wikimedia-Projekte bebilderst! Im 2. Halbjahr 2018 wird WikiDaheim wahrscheinlich wieder stattfinden - wir würden uns freuen, wenn du dann wieder dabei wärst :-) Solltest Du Fragen haben, so kannst Du Dich gerne an wikidaheimwikimedia.at wenden.

Du hast sie unter Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Sankt Margarethen an der Raab einsortiert, aber keine ID des BDAs angegeben. Welche Quelle hast du für den Denkmalschutz der Kapelle? Vielleicht ist die Kapelle ja nicht denkmalgeschützt. Hallo Nxr-at, habe ein ähnliches Bild gefunden (dasselbe (bis auf Himmel und Ausschnitt?) - etwa der Traktoranhänger rechts vor dem Gutshof im Vordergrund) [1] und das ist eine Ansichtskarte Gelaufen 1968 in Riegersburg. Großformat. Verlag: Westmüller. Nummeriert: 7593. und damit noch keine 70 Jahre alt (von 70 Jahre nach Tod des Fotografen ganz zu schweigen). Feuerwehrhäuser im Bereich GU

Hallo Nxr-at, unter File:Feuerwehr Schirning-Meierhof.jpg findest du ein Feuerwehrhaus der FF Schirning-Meierhof. Ich habe allerdings weder auf der Gemeindeseite von Gratwein-Straßengel noch auf der Seite des BFV Graz-Umgebung (Abschnitt 6 o.a.) diese Feuerwehr gefunden. hallo Nxr-at, unser Fotowettbewerb WikiDaheim ist seit 7. 10. 2018, 24:00 MESZ beendet. Das Hochladen weiterer Fotos unter diesem Titel führt jetzt nicht zu einer nachträglichen Teilnahme. Was schade ist, aber nicht zu ändern. Nächstes Jahr vermutlich gibt es eine neue Runde. z.B. File:Freiwillige Feuerwehr Bierbaum am Auersbach.JPG, ich erlaube mir mal die relevanten Bausteine zu entfernen. Feuerwehrkategorien

Hallo Nxr-at, wir haben bewusst immer die Catgeory:Fire station als eine Unterkategorie, der Feuerwehr und nicht umgekehrt, da eine Feuerwehr auch mehrere Feuerwehrhäuser haben kann, das Feuerwehrhaus aber immer nur einer Feuerwehr gehört. Vielen Dank für Deine Teilnahme am Wettbewerb zu WikiDaheim 2018! Von Ende Juli bis Anfang Oktober wurden so insgesamt mehr als 14.000 Bilder hochgeladen und viele Orte in Österreich in der Wikipedia und anderen Projekten mit neuen Bildern versehen, was nur dank der vielen Beiträge wie Deinen möglich war. Deutsch Schützen Kapelle

Hallo Nxr-at, komme mit dem Bild (und der einelementigen Kategorie) nicht klar. Ist das nicht einfach Teil der Inneneinrichtung der Pfarrkirche? Und könnte daher einfach nach Category:Pfarrkirche Deutsch Schützen - Interior verschoben werden? Wenn das eine baulich abgesetzte Kapelle außerhalb der Pfarrkirche ist, dann braucht es eine bessere Beschreibung, sonst ist das nicht nachvollziehbar. Einzelne Seitenkapellen in Kirchen werden nur bei ganz großen Kirchen (Stephansdom etc.) abgetrennt, wenn das ob der Bilderflut notwendig werden sollte. Das ist hier jetzt und in Zukunft nicht der Fall.

Die Category:Vinzentinerinnen Graz habe ich zur Löschung vorgeschlagen, weil

existierte Category:Vinzentinerinnenkonvent Graz schon und
gehört weder die eine noch die andere Kategorie in die Pfarrkirchen-Kategorie, sondern nur das einzelne Bild des Altars.

Denkmalschutz

Hallo Nxr-at, bitte nicht einfach selbst ein Objekt zum denkmalgeschützten erklären [3]. Das macht in Österreich das BDA. Ohne Eintrag in den Listen der denkmalgeschützten Objekte der Gemeinde und ohne passende id kannst du davon ausgehen, dass ein Objekt nicht unter Denkmalschutz steht. Einelementige Kategorien

Hallo Nxr-at, Kategorien sind Abstraktionen und Zusammenfassungen mehrerer gleichartiger Dinge, in unserem Fall Bilder. Einelementige Kategorien machen daher keinen Sinn. Bei den Denkmallisten sollen Kategorien nur angelegt werden, wenn mehr als 1 Bild existiert, besser noch mindestens 3 Bilder zu einem Objekt existieren. Kategorien wie die von dir angelegten Category:Kath. Pfarrkirche hll. Petrus und Paulus (Stinatz), Category:Pfarrkirche Eberau und Category:Pfarrkirche Heiligenbrunn machen keinen Sinn. Du kannst die Kategorien gerne anlegen, wenn du weitere Bilder hast (Im konkreten Fall gehe ich davon aus, dass noch weitere Bilder kommen), aber nicht vorher. Dazu kommt, dass diese Kategorien unvollständig sind:

die id fehlt
{{Wikidata infobox}} fehlt
die Kategorien des Bildes sind nicht vollständig zur Kategorie mit dem Bild hochgezogen worden (d.h. vom Bild zur Kategorie)

"Pfarrkirche" Oberdorf im Burgenland

Hallo Nxr-at, die beiden Fotos File: Pfarrkirche Oberdorf im Burgenland 05.jpg und File: Pfarrkirche Oberdorf im Burgenland 06.jpg haben als Beschreibung Pfarrkirche stehen. Das ist irreführend weil hier nicht die Pfarrkirche abgebildet ist, sondern eine etwa 2 qm große Nachbildung einer Kirche, die gegenüber der Pfarrkirche steht. Außerdem dürfte das "Ding" erst vor ein paar Jahren errichtet worden sein - auf google ist es nämlich nicht zu sehen (oder vielleicht auch nicht mehr) Gerne würde ich die Beschreibung ändern, weiß aber nicht was das sein soll. Die Idee, überfüllte Gemeindekategorien aufzuräumen ist grundsätzlich einmal nicht schlecht. Die Kategorie "Cultural heritage monuments in Xy" ist dafür allerdings ungeeignet, weil sie ausschließlich dafür da ist, vom BDA definierte denkmalgeschützte Objekte zu erfassen. Wenn Du die Denkmäler einer Gemeinde insgesamt in eine Kategorie bringen willst, ist es viel besser, Du legst dafür eine eigene an etwa " Monuments and memorials in xy". Hallo Nxr-at: Auf Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Austria steht seit ewigen Zeiten: Diese Kategorie sammelt Bilder, Videos und Audiodateien zu den denkmalgeschützten Objekten in Österreich. Ein denkmalgeschütztes Objekt ist ein vom BDA als denkmalgschützt ausgewiesenes Objekt. Was denn sonst. Ich habe es dennoch nochmals deutlicher zu formulieren versucht. Wir hatten ein persönliches Gespräch bei der 2018er Preisverleihung, ich habe dich auch dort darauf hingewiesen. Das habe ich dir geschrieben: Wenn du das Objekt nicht in der Denkmalliste der Gemeinde findest, gehe bitte davon aus, dass es auch nicht denkmalgeschützt ist. Ich habe dir und deinen Vorgängerkonten gefühlte 1000 Mal mit dem Vermerk No evidence for protection diese Kategorievergaben zurückgesetzt. Es stimmt mich froh, dass sich das Missverständnis nun aufgeklärt hat. OMG! Nachdem ich die obenstehende Anfrage von Karl Gruber gelesen habe, habe ich einen Blick auf Deine Benutzerbeiträge geworfen. Hast Du das, was Karl geschrieben hat, nicht verstanden? Die jeweilige Kategorie Cultural_heritage_monuments_in_... ist vorgesehen für offiziell unter Denkmalschutz stehende Objekte. Und das sind all jene, die in der entsprechenden Ortsliste auf der de-wikipedia aufgelistet sind. Alle anderen Objekte gehören nicht dort hin! Die Strukturen auf de:WP und Commons (und Wikidata) sind parallel und wenn du so willst, notwendigerweise zweigleisig. bezüglich der Bilder von Josefa Groß [4] gibt es ein Problem. Uploader (du) und Rechteinhaber (Josefa Groß) sind verschieden. In der Lizenz heißt es: Ich, der Urheberrechtsinhaber dieses Werkes, veröffentliche es .... Es ist ja gut, dass du den unbequemeren Weg gehst, und die Bilder nicht als deine hochladest. Interior

Hallo Nxr-at. Die Kategorien für die Innenansichten von Kirchen dienen dazu, eine übervolle Kategorie zur Kirche übersichtlicher zu machen. Wenn es nur eine Handvoll Bilder einer Kirche gibt, braucht es die Aufteilung nicht. Schon gar nicht um einzelne Bilder in einer Unterkategorie zu verstecken. Es wird dann einfach unmöglich, die Bilder der Kirche auf einer Seite gemeinsam zu sehen. Die Sammelkategorie Category:Interiors of churches in Styria etc. hat mE keinen praktischen Zweck. Das Datum (date) bei den Bildern

ist das Capture date, also das Aufnahmedatum. Siehe {{Information}} (Parameter date). Deine Waldheimbilder stammen wohl kaum von heute (28.12.2020). Du kannst dich sicher noch erinnern, wann du die Bilder geschossen hast, de:Kurt Waldheim hat nur einmal zum BP wahlgekämpft, das war 1985. Vermutlich hast du die Bilder damals gemacht. Hallo Nxr-at, ich finde grade den Nachweis für den Denkmalschutz dieser Kapelle nicht. Wäre sie unter Denkmalschutz, dann müsste sie eine passende ObjektID haben und in de:Liste der denkmalgeschützten Objekte in Söchau eingetragen sein. Bitte den Nachweis für den Denkmalschutz erbringen, was sind deine Quellen für deine Behauptung? Greetings from Wiki Loves Folklore International Team!

Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.

The campaign invites participants to document photographs, videos, and audios linked to folk culture and fit within the contest's theme. Through this campaign, you may become a part of a community dedicated to preserving our intangible culture, which has been brought and passed down for thousands of years.

How to Contribute?

The dates for the submission in the photography contest on Wikimedia Commons are from 1 February to 31 March 2023. Probably you are wondering how you can take part. It’s simple: grab a camera, record an image, video or audio under the folklore theme and start uploading ! To learn more about the rules, check out our Project page on Wikimedia Common. Here are the exciting prizes which you can win internationally.
