Pagetti Rook is a Weequay, a species native to the desert world of Sriluur. The tough leathery skin helps them endure the harsh conditions of their home world, while also providing natural resistance to blaster fire, making them ideal bodyguards and bounty hunters.



This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.


  • This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
  • GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
  • Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
  • Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
  • Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.


Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below.


DZ Weequay Mask.jpeg Face
  • The mask is brown in color and must be a high quality representation of silicon or latex. Face, neck and all skin exposed by the neckline are covered by the mask.
  • Six gathers of hair consisting of coarse black, brown and grey are located on the back of the mask. They are bound by brown string near the roots.
  • The six gathers of hair begin at the top left of the costumers head and end at the bottom right.
  • The mask is covered in deep wrinkles.
  • The lower cheeks have small cascading bumps that end just below the chin.
  • There is a small ear on either side of the costumers head.
  • The nose is large and flat.
  • The wearers eyes are rimmed in black/brown depending on eye hole size.
  • The eyes appear deep set from the large brow line.




DZ Weequay Armor.jpeg Jerkin
  • Dark brown suede jerkin quilted in irregular horizontal lines.
  • Closed on each side with approximately two 2.5 (6cm) inch suede belts.
  • Upper chest bib has four approximately 2 inch (5cm) suede circles attached. The outer two have approximately ½ inch (13mm) conical brass rivets with the inner two having approximately ¾ inch (20mm) pyramidal brass rivets.
  • Approximately four inches from the edge of the jerkin, there is a single approximately 3 inch leather band that begins at the costumers right breast where the ribbed sections meet the bib, this strap ends at the costumers lower right back.
  • Shoulder bells attached with three approximately 1 inch (25mm) bands.
  • The back of the jerkin has a rounded collar and matching line detailing however the four brass circles are missing.

  • Brown weathered leather similar in color to the jerkin.
  • The tops have rounded corners and decoration of a row 5 holes.
  • Fixed to arm with leather straps and metal buckles.

  • The hands are made from the same material as the mask.
  • Hands are large and have deep creases and lines that match the mask.
  • Are colored the same tone as the mask.
  • The hands have large fingernails attached to each finger they are slightly darker than the base color of the hand.




DZ Weequay Belt Buckle.jpeg Belt and Buckle
  • Dark brown weathered leather approximately 1 ½ inch (38mm) wide.
  • Approximately 3/4 inch (20mm) strap from front to rear over right hip of same leather as the belt. This strap begins just before the costumers right hip and ends just past the small black back on the costumers right back.
  • Small black leather bag on the costumers right hip. The bag is separated into two parts in the center and has pyramidal brass rivets, similar to the ones on the jerkin, but half the size.
  • Two larger black leather black bags on the costumers left hip. The bag is separated into two parts in the center and closes with the same pyramidal brass rivets as the right bag.
  • Circular buckle is made of tarnished bronze approximately 2 ½ inch (63mm)diameter with rough round holes on the side which sit across from each other evenly spaced.

  • Loose fitting shirt made from a pale blue coarse woven fabric of natural fiber, raw silk or linen are preferred.
  • The fabric has vertical ribbing.
  • Sleeves fall to the wrist.
  • The neckline is visible under the jerkin.
  • Shirt is weathered in natural brown and tan hues.

  • The trousers are beige in color
  • Loose fitting and made from waffle weave fabric.
  • Worn tucked in to the boots and over the shirt.
  • Trousers are weathered.

  • Weathered brown calf high leather boots with a low heel.





Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.



DZ Weequay Vibroaxe.jpg SoroSuub BD1 Cutter Vibro-Ax
  • Grey metal tones with pointed axe at top.
  • Hand wrap is bound string or leather.
  • Small metal details adorn the handle.
  • Axe is between four and five feet tall.
  • A small counter weight balance circle adorns the bottom of the axe.
