Doctor Cornelius Evazan was from planet Alsakan and he was a promising cosmetic surgeon until he became gripped by madness and began practicing "creative surgery" on his patients, leaving his victims horrifically disfigured.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
- This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
- GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
- Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
- Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
- Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Required Costume Components
|
The following costume components are present and appear as described below.
|
|
|
Hair and Facial Appearance
Through the use of prosthetic appliances, the following key facial features resemble Dr.Evazan:
- Eyebrows/ forehead, right cheek, and upper lip.
- Prosthetic appliances are made from silicone, foam latex, or gelatin.
- The prosthetic appliance are well blended into the skin reducing the noticeable separation between the skin around the eyes and mouth and the appliance.
Hair is brown, wavy, approximately 3-4 inches in length with an unkempt appearance.
- This can be achieved with the wearer’s own hair, or a wig.
- The hair has the appearance of a receding hairline.

Vest
Made from brown suede or suede-like material.
- No visible method of closure.
- Shoulders are adorned with leather cord stitching in a semi-random cross-stitch pattern.
|
|
|
Shirt
- The undershirt is a beige or tan color which is left untucked.
- The undershirt has light to medium weathering.
- The front of the shirt is cut with a deep v-neck which extends to the mid/low chest area.
- The collar is a military/mandarin style collar with a wide opening at the front.
- Sleeves have no visible cuff on the ends.

Belt
- The belt is made from brown leather or leather-like material.
- Buckle is curved, oval in shape and a snaps to the right of the wearer.
- The holster is attached to the belt.

|
Holster
- The holster is made of a dark brown leather or leather-like material, and is worn on the right hip.
- Simple cord attaches the holster to the leg.

|
Trousers
- Simple medium brown pants without noticeable pockets or adornments.
- Pants legs are straight and not flaring.
- Pants have light weathering.

|
Boots
- Black jack-boot style boots are made of leather or leather like material.
- Simple with no adorning features (IE: buckles, laces)
- Mid-calf in height.

Optional Accessories
|
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

SE-14 Blaster
- Blaster is an SE-14 with dual scopes.
|
|
|
Teeth
- False teeth used on the bottom of the wearers mouth.
|
|
|
Contacts
- Only one contact lens worn in the right eye.
- The contact lens described as a hazy-white “zombie” effect.
- This style of contact lens may be worn, if desired.
- While encouraged to complete the look of this character, the contact lens
requirement will be waived for 501st acceptance, if the applicant cannot wear
contact lenses for health related reasons.
- All persons utilizing contact lenses are encouraged to first see their optometrist
for a fitting.
