Muftak is a member of the large furry species known as Talz which originate on the frozen world of Alzoc III. The Talz have two distinct sets of eyes. One for day vision, and one for night vision.
Muftak is well know in the Mos Eisley spaceport as a notorious pickpocket and thief, acting as the muscle for the crime duo of Muftak and Kabe.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
- This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
- GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
- Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
- Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
- Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

| Required Costume Components
|
|
The following costume components are present and appear as described below.
|
|
|
|
Head
- The head is round and utilizes white and grey fur-like material in the pattern seen in reference.
- There are four eyes in a two pair configuration.
- The upper pair of eyes are smaller than the lower pair.
- The lower pair of eyes has a very wide iris.
- There is a brown tube-like mandible below and centered between the eyes near the neckline that is speckled with dark grey or black.

Fur Suit
- The bodysuit is large and utilizes white and grey fur-like material.
- Dark grey and medium grey fur is seen near the armpits, wrists, across the chest, lower shins, and near the ankles.
- The darker fur is "under" the white fur and gives a natural appearance.
- The chest of the suit is barrel chested.
- The fur is shaggy.
- The arms and legs are thick and straight.

Claws & Hands
- The hands are large and utilize white and grey fur-like material in the tier pattern seen in reference.
- The first tier of white fur is shaggiest.
- The second tier of medium grey fur is long but less shaggy.
- Four clawed fingers extend out, utilizing light grey fur that is short and fuzzy.
- There is one opposable thumb on each hand.
- The palms are the same light grey as the fingers; the palms may be leathery.
- The fingers and thumbs have long black slightly curved claws.

Feet and Toes
- The feet are large and utilize white fur-like material.
- The fur is shaggy and long.
- Three clawed toes extend out, and are covered by the long white fur.
- The toes have long black slightly curved claws.
