Qi’ra was a human female from the planet Corellia who lived during the reign of the Galactic Empire. She grew up on the streets along with Han Solo before swiftly climbing the ranks within the criminal organization Crimson Dawn, serving under Dryden Vos as the top Lieutenant and living a life of opulence.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
- This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
- GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
- Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
- Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
- Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

| Required Costume Components
|
|
The following costume components are present and appear as described below.
|
|
|
|
Hair and Face
- The hair is dark brown in color, shoulder length and wavy.
- Bangs are arched to the costumer’s right side.
|
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
- Black lined eyes, with soft winged eyeliner at the edges of each eye, and red lipstick.
- Hair is deep chestnut brown.

|
|
Earrings
- Are round halo style diamond earrings.
|
|
|
|
Dress
- Is made of black satin.
- Is lined with golden yellow satin.
- The collar of the dress has a deep V, with princess seams; there is a vertical seam at the center that ends under the belt.
- The belt sits on the costumer’s natural waistline.
- The opening of the split is offset to the costumer’s right thigh, it is sewn partly down the thigh.
- The split extends from mid-thigh to the base of the dress.
- Has a rounded train that extends a short distance behind the costumer.
- The back of the dress has a low cut U shape that ends at waistline of the dress.
- The sleeves are fitted, they flair at the wrist and end just before the knuckles.
- There are two gold arches at the base of each V on each inner wrist, and a small gold cuff link.
- A seam at the back center of the dress is permissible.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
- Is made of black crepe silk satin.
- Is lined with gold crepe silk satin.
- The shoulders have padding and arch slightly past the natural shoulder edge.

|
Necklace
- The necklace / harness is integrated into the dress and made of rubber, or rubber-like material. There is a horizontal line supporting a smooth gold pendant design that is a half circle shape with another half circle cut in. There are two vertical straps that connect either side of the pendant, and rise up over the costumer’s shoulders and behind the neck.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
- The necklace connects at the back to an additional horizontal line across the top of the shoulder blades at the back of the dress.
- The gold pendant is made from a rigid material and cut-out approximately 3.5 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 3 mm thick.

|
Belt
- The waist of the dress is covered by a thin black belt that is made of a rigid shiny black material it is approximately 1.5 inches thick.
- The belt has a gold strip running the full length of the belt, and sits towards the top of the black belt.
- At the back of the belt there is a black triangular closure with a pendant the same shape as the necklace.

- The pendant at the back of the belt is approximately 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and 3 mm thick.

|
Shoes
- High heeled shoes are worn with a thin strap around the ankle.

- The toes of the shoes are slightly pointed.
|
|
|
|
Rings
- Two rings are worn on the costumer’s right hand.
- On the index finger a thin gold band with large round pearl is worn, with green / black undertones, the stone has four gold tips holding it to the ring.
- Three thin bands.
- On the costumer’s middle finger on the left hand is a wide set silver band with yellow-hemmed square halo center ring with diamond borders, a gap in the center that features a thinner band running through.

- On the three bands one has a contrasting finish on the center.

| Optional Accessories
|
|
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

|
Nails
- The costumer’s nails are painted in a dark metallic color.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
- The costumer’s nails are painted black metallic with green and gold overtones.
