Context: Crimson Empire Trilogy
Carnor Jax was a Sovereign Protector and aspiring Sith Lord who made a bid for the vacant Imperial throne. An Adversary of Kir Kanos who met his untimely death in a battle on the planet of Yichnorr.


For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

The Sovereign Protectors Detachment has defined additional optional levels of costuming excellence.

  • This costume may be approved, but until the library entry is complete, this costume must be reviewed by the Legion Membership Officer and the Detachment Leader, via the detachment’s thread of the DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forums. This costume cannot be approved at the local level by your GML.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below.


TR CJ HELMET.jpg Helmet
  • Finished in a crimson and black gloss finish to match visual references.

The visor is fitted with a red visor that allows for maximum visibility while obscuring the wearers features.

The visor is cut lower and angled to make a center triangle. Helmet has a crest going from front to back

Blankwhite.gif Robes/Cape

Constructed of black velvet or velveteen, fully lined in black satin or lightly-reflective material. Robes/Cape must hang no higher than the individual wearer’s calves and no lower than the individual wearer’s ankles. Robes/Cape must have at least one opening to allow for movement and ability to be worn draped over one shoulder. Cloak/Cape closure method cannot be part the bodysuit or armor and must function separately.

The outer cloak will be hemmed to a length that is no more than 1" off the ground. This hem will be the same length at all points around the cloak.

  • Velour and crushed panne velvet are not acceptable.

  • Bodysuit must be constructed of red form fitting material with a 2 inch stripe running down the arms and legs.

(ex: lycra/spandex) with black accents running vertical along the torso to the thigh. This accent is three inches wide.

  • Neck Seal for “Helmet Off” photos.

  • The shoulder bells are considered effectively symmetrical; they may be worn interchangeably on the left and right shoulders and should have a black elastic strap that wraps around the inside of the bicep.

  • Done in a gloss black finish. Must be shaped to mimic the visual reference and must contain or show sectional division between plates.
  • A minimum of 3 (three) abdominal plates is required but no more than 8 (eight).

  • (Black, texture-less, leather/synthetic leather (non glossy) “Knee High boots", squared toe (rounded toe in ladies styles are acceptable), with a relatively conservative heel, no visible straps/buckles, or ornamental stitching.

Manufactured by BlasTech Industries, the DH-17 is a standard-issue Imperial sidearm for shipboard combat. The energy and power of the weapon is tuned to penetrate necessary targets, yet it will not puncture a starship’s hull.
