The 26th Summer University on Ergonomics, a European conference on ergonomics, was recently held at our site in Eger, Hungary. Exciting lectures and workshops provided insights into the theoretical principles and latest industrial applications of ergonomics. We are proud that many of our processes were highlighted as best practices. Overall, the Summer University on Ergonomics was an inspiring event that contributed to professional development and strengthened international relationships. Vor Kurzem fand die 26. Our fourth pillar focuses on a very important area of sustainability: the supply chain. The carbon footprint is becoming increasingly important in product manufacturing. Since 2021, we have been calculating PCFs (Product Carbon Footprints) for our products and are constantly building a more sustainable supply chain. As a major steel consumer, we are already working with our suppliers on solutions for green steel products, which account for almost 70% of our total CO2 emissions in the supply chain. Mubea follows the principle of corporate social responsibility by committing to responsible sourcing that emphasizes resource conservation, emissions reduction and environmental compliance. We also monitor the use of risk materials in our procurement processes to ensure our commitment to ethical sourcing and responsible business practices. At Mubea, we expect our suppliers and service providers to adhere to our own values in terms of sustainability. For this reason, Mubea has included sustainability requirements in the general terms and conditions when onboarding new suppliers and service providers. By reducing the carbon footprint in our value chain and switching to green steel products, we are actively contributing to environmental protection. Our commitment to ethical sourcing and social responsibility is firmly anchored and reflected in every step of our supply chain. Unsere vierte Säule zielt auf einen sehr bedeutsamen Bereich der Nachhaltigkeit ab: die Lieferkette. Immer wichtiger bei der Produktherstellung ist der CO2-Fußabdruck. Seit 2021 berechnen wir für unsere Produkte PCFs (Product Carbon Footprints) und bauen stetig eine nachhaltigere Lieferkette auf. Als großer Stahlverbraucher arbeiten wir bereits mit unseren Lieferanten an Lösungen für grüne Stahlprodukte, die fast 70 % unserer gesamten CO2-Emissionen in der Lieferkette ausmachen. Mubea folgt dem Prinzip der Corporate Social Responsibility, indem es sich zu einer verantwortungsvollen Beschaffung verpflichtet, die den Schwerpunkt auf Ressourcenschonung, Emissionsreduzierung und die Einhaltung von Umweltvorschriften legt. 🍃 ISO 14001 certification for Mubea Aerostructures in Eger 🍃 We are proud to announce that our Mubea Aerostructures site in Hungary has successfully achieved ISO 14001 certification! Since September 2023, we have been working hard to meet the requirements of the environmental management standards and were able to pass the audit without any deviations. Our site in Eger has made significant progress by switching to LED lighting, insulating large glass surfaces and operating a solar park with a capacity of over 300 kWh, among other things. These measures strengthen our energy independence and sustainability. It is particularly noteworthy that our site has voluntarily taken on this challenge to underline our commitment to environmental protection and renewable energy. We are proud of these continuous improvements on our way to being climate neutral by 2035. Wir sind stolz, dass unser Mubea Aerostructures Standort in Ungarn erfolgreich die ISO 14001-Zertifizierung erhalten hat! Seit September 2023 haben wir intensiv daran gearbeitet, die Anforderungen der Umweltmanagement-Normen zu erfüllen und konnten das Audit ohne Abweichungen bestehen. Unser Standort in Eger hat unter anderem durch die Umstellung auf LED-Beleuchtung, die Isolierung großer Glasflächen und den Betrieb eines Solarparks mit über 300 kWh Kapazität erhebliche Fortschritte erzielt. Our participation in the open day of our partner Berg Autoteile in Magdeburg was a complete success! As a supplier partner in the suspension springs product group, our Mubea Aftermarket division was able to hold exciting discussions with workshops at our exhibition area on June 7 and take a look behind the scenes of our partner Berg Autoteile. In addition to presenting our suspension springs and the Dura Connect patent, we were also able to introduce visitors to our innovative GFRP leaf springs for the Fiat Ducato. Unsere Teilnahme am Tag der offenen Tür unseres Partners Berg Autoteile in Magdeburg war ein voller Erfolg! The site acquired six months ago, which operated under the name RUAG Aerostructures before the takeover, can already look back on a history of almost 90 years. Today, this site is part of Mubea Aerostructures GmbH. 800 employees work here in the production of components and assemblies for the aviation industry. The location offers an attractive combination of a dynamic business environment and attractive surroundings with the nearby metropolitan region of Munich.
