Visual designer with comedic touch

We are a digital health company producing solutions that support patients in their journey with complex conditions, such as obesity, by providing bold, compelling and trusted content.
We are looking for a talented artists to help produce visual content (images, GIFs, etc) that accompany and complement the text content in our platform, for the purposes of sharing in various messaging channels (SMS, iMessage, RCS, WhatsApp, etc) and in a newsletter. The goal is to be bold and compelling, and also to have a touch of humour! Our copyright involves communication of health information, but we want our tone to be lighthearted, relatable and with a slight sense of humour, and we want to find a visual aesthetic that complements this. We need help with both ideation as well as the illustration / design.
The goal of the artist will be to help come up with ideas for these images based on our text copyright (which we will support and provide feedback on), as well as produce the respective images. We are looking for creativity and the ability to understand our messaging to produce thoughtful visual content that helps people understand our messaging. We also hope that the chosen candidate understands how this work has the ability to impact lives around the world!
We have a tight timeline for an initial series of small deliverables (Aug 30th), following which we hope to continue to work with you should it be a mutual fit.
