Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 22 November 2021
editHello. Ronaldo has won 34 trophies and not 32 as mentioned in the article. The uncounted trophies are the FA Community Shield 2008 and the UEFA Super Cup 2016. Although Ronaldo did not play both games the titles must be added as he was part of the team squad, in addition to being collective awards. Enclosed references:
Similarly, Ronaldo was awarded the best player of the 21st century at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony:
Edit request for section "2022-present: Desire to leave United
editThe following sentence (the reference for it is 313) needs a minor grammar fix - "take" instead of "taken":
"Ten Hag later named Ronaldo as captain for a league game against Aston Villa on 6 November, saying that Ronaldo was "an important part of the squad, we are happy with him and now he has to taken even more of the leader role".
Career split proposal
editCristiano Ronaldo → Cristiano Ronaldo and Career of Cristiano Ronaldo — Splitting into Ronaldo and Career of Ronaldo is the same reason as Lionel Messi and Career of Lionel Messi, see [[1]]. Guyrichtheman (talk) 13:20, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

ronaldo
editHe has scored a record 885 senior career goals for club and country. Moreover, he is one of the few recorded players to have made over 1,200 professional career appearances. Collectively, Ronaldo has won 33 senior trophies in his career. 198.91.206.115 (talk) 22:33, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

- 34 trophies as is the uefa super cup of 2016 also counts. Even the Real Madrid official website has Included it. Kaustuv08 (talk) 23:58, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- The uefa super cup of 2016 is missing. Kaustuv08 (talk) 00:06, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- "Even the Real Madrid official website has included it". You don't think that Ronaldo's long-term employer has a self-interest in giving him as many trophies as possible? The Super Cup is a one-off game, so there's not even the argument that a player who was on the bench or played an earlier round gets the honour. He wasn't on the bench. He wasn't even in the stadium or in the same country. He was literally at home. [2] I don't know why out of blind, stubborn loyalty this issue is brought up all the time (there's already two more sections on this talk page!) Unknown Temptation (talk) 21:53, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

Could you add these in (External links)? They are without ID; the ID is on Wikidata so it is not necessary:
- {{FIFA player}} template missing ID and not present in Wikidata.
- {{UEFA player}} template missing ID and not present in Wikidata. 103.151.111.95 (talk) 10:07, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

In Player Profile section, under subheading of style of play, in paragraph two ‘His strength . . . passing ability’, add additional fact → “In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for the highest recorded jump in football history, measuring 2.93 meters, which he achieved during a match against Manchester United while playing for Real Madrid in the round-of-16 of the UEFA Champions League in 2013.”

Under senior appearance table, change Apps for Real Madrid from 292 to 438 and Goals from 311 to 450.
Also, change his apps for Juventus to 134 and Goals to 101
Also, for his first stint as Manchester United from 2003-09, he should have 292 apps instead of 196 and 118 goals instead of 84.
For his second stint at Manchester United from 2021-2023, change his app from 40 to 54 and goals from 19 to 27.

- Not done, for two reasons:
- 1. Wikipedia users only consider correct statistics in infoboxes as those which come from the league only. (The actual name is infoboxes, not senior appearance table.)
- 2. Users who are able to change edit-protected pages reject transfermarkt websites, per WP:TRANSFERMARKT, for referencing reliably sourced content. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 21:11, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
International goal record edit
editRonaldo holds record for most international goals by a MALE soccer player. He is NOT the record holder for international goals. There are FIVE women who have scored more international goals than Ronaldo. 2001:8003:3E0B:300:F9E6:8C34:3B6A:5676 (talk) 11:06, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
