Removing flags

edit

Dear Wikipedia,

I wrote the article on Stewart Enterprises and have two questions:

1. I'm unsure why this entry might be considered written like an advertisement. It is factual and backed-up with verifiable footnotes. Any advice would be appreciated. 2. The article has been declared "within the scope of WikiProject Louisiana, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of Louisiana on Wikipedia." Is it possible for someone to reread the article and remove the flags if it now conforming.

Any insights appreciated.

Flag Removal & WP:Death Assessment Commentary

edit

I assessed the article for WP:Death. I also removed a couple of the flags; the article is factual, and though completely positive, does not read like an advertisement; the grammar and style is more than adequate, so I removed the banner on "cleanup". The article still needs additional coverage, such as why did the original company expand, what was the significance of the purchase of certain cemeteries, etc. Accessibility could be improved by providing short definitions for industry terms like "preneed". Finally, the article should be divided into sections and some supporting material should be added (an infobox, company logo, and/or photos of company products, founder, or current CEO).
