The reference to the similarity to cars in Mad Max Fury Road is more likely to be coincidence than any particular homage to this movie. If there is no citable reference linking these movies this section should be removed. All references discovered in a google search with the two movie titles mention a casual similarity between the cars and probably plagiarised from each other (It is unlikely that so many reviewers of a blockbuster 2015 movie have seen or recall the cars out of a little known movie released 40 years prior). None of them contain any quoted reference linking the two movies.
