I'm a longtime Wikipedia user that tries to make contributions to articles, primarily in the form of copy editing or completing partial source attributions. I find it very distracting to stumble over poorly articulated or worded articles that otherwise contain excellent, informative knowledge. I don't consider myself a particularly zealous "grammar Nazi" as I tend to limit my editorial corrections to fixing spelling and wording (for which I will never accept "verbiage" as a synonym)[1], while removing controversial and inflammatory language. With that said, I will confront loaded writing or political correctness without hesitation.
