Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (68.194.81.110) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Also, please terminate your <small> tags with </small> tags. Again, welcome!   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 04:52, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! List of House Members

edit

Can you please talk about your editing to the seniority page of House members? Your edits make no sense. How can someone resign from the House while still serving in the House? Yossiea (talk) 03:59, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Gaelan. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 2015 in the United States  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. (talk to) Gaelan('s contributions) 00:55, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Helmut von Moltke (talk) 19:47, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Really quickly---can you justify your revisions of the end-of-term dates? Thanks. Dschslava (talk) 19:54, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@68.194.81.110: First, please ping me back when you see this message. Second, as per precedent on the featured article Ronald Reagan, the dates for the start and end of term (excepting the year, of course) are identical, except in cases where it changes per annum. Oh, and remember to leave edit summaries! Dschslava (talk) 20:06, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

This applies to all the edits of this type. If you think there need to be something changed across hundreds of articles, it's better to discuss it first, rather than sowing edit-wars throughout the encyclopedia. --Coemgenus (talk) 21:04, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one year for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=I seriously apologize for not communicating with my editors, I will make sure that I will never do that type of stuff again. ~~~~}}.

  • Multiple editors have tried to communicate with you and you have not addressed their concerns. Communication is required on this collaborative project and continuing to edit without this is disruptive. Unless you justify your edits, editors are free to revert them.
