Riddles : Examples

Hello, and thanks for your addition. However, I am sure you agree that examples of riddles do not merit an own article. Please see WP:NOTABILITY for Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have nominated this article for speedy deletion as a housekeeping task. You can merge the content that you added to it with riddle if you feel like it. Here is a copy of the material that you added to the new article, in case it is deleted:

Riddles are questions which often confuse other people.

Here are some of them :


1) A beggar has this, a king needs this, but, if you eat this then you will die. What is it?

Answer : Nothing


2) This thing has both a head and a tail, but, it is not alive. What is it?

Answer : A Coin


3) 8 men took 10 hours to build a wall. How much time will 4 men take to build the same wall?

Answer : They don't have to build the wall because it has already been built.


4) How can you lift an elephant with one hand?

Answer : First, you will have to find a elephant that has one hand ; which is simply impossible.


5) What will happen if you throw a red emerald into the sea ?

Answer : It will simply become wet.
