Jason Blades.....
Hi Knitsey, you removed my update about Jason Blades. It is all absolutely factual and has been admitted to on various TV shows. I don't think that 'celebrities' should be protected from the truth being written about them, particularly when they have admitted to it but then perhaps in retrospect have regretted that admission amd not continued to repeat it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Accuracy1985 (talk • contribs) 06:10, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hello there. This is nothing to do with protecting anyone. It has everything to do with using a reliable source, using a neutral tone and adhering to BLP policies on Wikipedia.
- If you read the message that I left you again, you will see I added links to WP:BLP and WP:RS. I will also add WP:NPOV. I would urge you to read all three of those policies before adding any edits to Wikipedia. If you need any further help then please do reach out. Many thanks, Knitsey (talk) 06:20, 6 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello again!
editHi Knitsey! I saw you around, just wanted to say hello. You came to me a while ago and I believe I gave you your first barnstar :) Glad to see you around, and I hope all is well! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 17:10, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello again, nice to hear from you! I had some time off for health issues but now I'm back and (nearly) fighting fit. I didn't realise how much I missed Wikipedia (as sad as that is to admit).
- I'm just getting back into the swing of things. After a while I think I will start looking for something else to try, other than anti-vandal work. It's nice to be back. Knitsey (talk) 17:15, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
- I get that! I'm happy to hear your health is improving and hope it continues to! I understand missing WP when on a break, I've had to do the same more recently for a few reasons, but I've had some downtime :) Either way, I'm glad to see you back and look forward to running into you! - It would be nice to say I hope we DON'T run into each other (vandalism) but that's never going to happen.
- Thank you again, Knitsey (talk) 18:01, 18 July 2024 (UTC)

Degrading sexualized image
editHi Knitsey, A group of women with MRKH Syndrome attempted to replace a degrading and sexualized image of a woman’s genitals from the page associated with their condition. You immediately put it right back up. Why would you do that? Do you think young girls with that diagnosis want to come to the Wikipedia page and see themselves presented as a woman with her legs spread, looking at her vagina? Did the woman even consent? There are plenty of more respectful and anatomically accurate diagrams that can be used. Right now, Wikipedia feels like exploitation and abuse to us right now. Please allow us to have some dignity 2601:140:8400:5120:85E:DC21:4C90:26F8 (talk) 23:05, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- This is a medical article. I would suggest that people looking for medical information may be put off by a photo of a pair of knickers made of flowers.
- Why do you think medical photos of a vagina are degrading?
- Can you please take time to also read WP:NOTCENSORED. Knitsey (talk) 23:14, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- This is not a medical article. It's your interpretation. This page was created by a person with MRKH. I asked you several times. Do you have any reaction to MRKH? Why are you bullying us? U feature (talk) 23:16, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Do you have access to any of the accurate diagrams that have a license compatible with Wikipedia? ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 23:16, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Why does it have to be a diagram? The whole your reasoning is based on the assumption that this article is medical. Why do you consider this article medical? Literally a person who created this article has MRKH. And it was made for informational purposes for MRKH women. U feature (talk) 23:22, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- The article is about a medical condition, and this is a general use encyclopedia. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 23:27, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- It's an informational article. Is there any Wiki rules that state that informational articles about medical conditions have to contain a picture that is either a photo of how that condition manifests or an "accurate diagrams"? U feature (talk) 23:32, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- " A suitable picture for the infobox is encouraged. " according to rules https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Medicine-related_articles#:~:text=Article%20titles%20use%20the%20scientific,info%20boxes%20and%20citation%20templates. U feature (talk) 23:34, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Personally, I am not concerned about whether the current picture stays or goes. What is not suiable for an article covered by WP:MEDRS is a picture of flowers in the shape of a pair of knickers. A nice pic and all that but it is not (in my opinion) suitable for an article about a serious medical condition in an encylopedia. Your picture adds nothing of value to the article and as I've said, could be seen as trivialising the condition. Knitsey (talk) 23:42, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Also there is a list with what is not encouraged in the picture. Says the opposite. That images for medical conditions shouldn't be very technical. Also no shock and sex content. Do you realize how shocking it is for my potential boyfriend to look up this article and see that horrible picture with poor woman that has no vagina?
- "
- Technical images: Highly technical images, such as of stained pathology slides, are appropriate for many articles. However, they are often not the most accessible images for the introduction. Consider placing simpler images in the lead and placing more technical images in a specific, relevant section with captions in plain English.
- " U feature (talk) 23:38, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Apologies, I've tried twice to reply to this message. It wouldn't post.
- Two issues.
- 1. The current picture.
- 2. Your artwork.
- The image you are trying to add is not suitable or relevant to the article about a medical condition.
- What I suggest is this. Make a post on the talk page of the article with your reasoning as to why you think the image should be removed, citing WP policy and anything you think might be relevant.
- Responses might be slow as Wikipedians are volunteers from across the globe.
- If there is no response in a few days then I will see what else we can do to resolve this. Knitsey (talk) 00:03, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Where exactly in the rules it states that it is prohibited to put a picture like that? Quote.
- Respond to my argument that a previous picture is a sexual and shock content. Also I suspect it was taken without permissions. As rules state people shouldn't be on the picture. Remove the old picture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Medicine-related_articles U feature (talk) 12:41, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Please take it to the article talk page. You need to gain community concensus. Knitsey (talk) 13:15, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- ScottishFinnishRadish Knitsey This is not an objective approach. You responded to no arguments. You also provided zero objective arguments on why exactly you are reverting the page to the state where it displays shocking and sexual content that is explicitly prohibited. You failed to provide an explicit rule that a new picture was allegedly violating. You based everything solely on your subjective judgment. This is not a right approach folks. Let's please remove an abusive picture of someone's vagina. Most likely that picture was taken without her consent. And MRKH community will add a new one that would be a better fit for a technical article. A compromise solution. There is no need to block people when all they want is to have a constructive discussion. Tamtamtamtararam1 (talk) 19:36, 24 July 2024 (UTC)

Removal of my edit on Piranha Bytes
editHi Knitsey,
Thank you for your information on the WIKI: RS, I have rolled back your changes and edited it so that it no longer leads to any social media. Now it should be without any issues.
Regards SadDayForMankind (talk) 08:38, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, and thanks for reaching out. I've reverted you again as a google search isn't a reference. Can you find anything that complies with WP:RS? Knitsey (talk) 08:41, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- I am sorry, but I am definitely not reading through a whole book of "laws" on how to quote an arcticle and whether any small hiccup would make a bad day for some Wiki white-knight to be able to rollback changes of editors that are actually willing to provide actual information. So, please, in order to save both our times - could you please let me know what is considered to be RELIABLE SOURCE ?
- Thank you and have a peachy day. SadDayForMankind (talk) 08:46, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have added reference from gameindustrybiz website which is not considered to be unrelaible source according to W: RS/PS. I am sorry for my previous lashing-out, but I am shocked to see that for adding informations that can't be whatsoever harmful, there is such a rigorous process to add a simple information. SadDayForMankind (talk) 09:10, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- SadDayForMankind That rigorous process is necessary to ensure verifiability and reliability, and to ensure that information is not just made up(since anyone can post anything here), which helps Wikipedia to be one of the most visited websites on this planet. 331dot (talk) 11:55, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- @SadDayForMankind: I've inserted the reference so that it is included in the reference section. Note that I've removed some of the section you've added as that wasn't part of the reference and you've attributed it to Discord? (If I've read it correctly).
- I understand the frustration with Wikipedia rules and guidance, it can seem like a minefield when it comes to what is and isn't allowed.
- If you need any further help then please do reach out to myself or others here, there is always someone around to help. Knitsey (talk) 13:56, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. Haven't checked but I think it's okay the way it is now, seeing that editing Wikipedia might be much more time consuming (to learn all the rules) than I though, I won't be making any other edits :') 2A00:102A:4030:82B:1:0:1960:DE3E (talk) 13:08, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thats a shame, it can be difficult at first but there are lots of people around to help as well as tutorials. If you change your mind then let me know as I can help find a mentor for you. Knitsey (talk) 13:12, 4 August 2024 (UTC)

Alex Silva
editHello, I don't know how this works really, therefore I don't know if this is the right place, But I made mods to the Alex Silva wrestler page because I know him. He's family. He wanted it modified for it to be true to him So I made the little changes. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by C00ki3zDaSilva (talk • contribs) 23:31, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
