The article Jeffrey Kelly has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

The president & chairman of a major company is ordinarily considered notable in WP terms. Others depending on the importance of the company and the role. The Chief Investment Officer of a financial group, maybe. In general, vice-presidents are not. But the articles you have been inserting are written in the style of press releases. It's different here. Don't call people by their first names, use their names only one or twice an article, omit needless words--surely you've heard that before-- (especially adjectives) and write in the style you would expect to see in an encyclopedia. And heed the advice above. As an admin, I stopped one or two of the articles from speedy deletion, but they will probably be nominated for regular deletion. Be prepared by adding references to their work from published third-party independent sources--newspaper or trade magazines. DGG (talk) 16:43, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
