This list falls short of WP:NLIST, specifically that this list is not discussed as a group in reliable sources. Wikipedia is not a catalog nor is it a sports almanac listing every instance of something happening. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:00, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

- Keep Passes NLIST. [1][2][3][4] There is also a list of coaching suspensions on Newspapers.com but I can't clip it due to not having Publisher Extra. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 16:48, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Just noting that all of those sources have notable qualifiers like "longest", "for gambling", "for PEDs", and "personal conduct". None discuss "every NFL suspension ever, dating back to the 1920s". Smaller, more specific lists, may meet notability standards for lists, but there is no relation between current NFL suspensions and the ones enacted in the 1920s. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 17:14, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Gonzo, I know someone will say WP:OTHERSTUFF but could you tell me how Detroit Lions draft history that you recently supported passes NLIST if this suspensions list doesn't? Every single Lions draft pick ever isn't discussed in any sources either if we're being picky. The 1936–1969 split by itself is about as long as this suspensions page. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 17:32, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- PFR.com, ProFootballNetwork.com, 247sports.com all provide comprehensive listings of the Packers draft history. The topic of the "Packers draft history" is discussed often, like ranking the best draft classes, discussing the specific draft classes by GM, biggest draft busts, etc. Green Bay Packers draft history (and the Lions) was split up per WP:SPINOFF and WP:SUMMARY. They were just getting to big to easily navigate. With the suspensions list, I don't see any comprehensive listing nor any source that talks about all historical suspensions. If the scope of this was more focused on an individual topic, I would likely change my mind. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 19:08, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

- Keep Not really finding many issues with the main part of the list, though a breakout into its own article for those suspensions under the substance abuse policy should be considered; the sources and GNG are not in question here. Nate • (chatter) 20:18, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
