My apologies for any inconvenience caused by this edit to the Palliative care article. It was a typographical error: I intended to change the word "of" to "or", but somehow must have accidentally pressed the "O" key instead of the "R" key when I was replacing the second letter. I have re-edited the page with my intended change (see here). Thank you for pointing out the error, as I would very likely have missed it otherwise. Michelle Bachelet's honorific prefix

I noticed that you removed the honorific prefix of "Her excellency" from the article's infobox citing the lack of sources as the reason.

All heads of state and government of Chile have been given the title of "His excellency" since the promulgation of the 1811 constitution [1](see Art.17). Furthermore, official government documents always refer to her as "Her excellency, the president of the republic, Michelle Bachellet" 2 3, international organizations such as UNESCO also refer to her that way. 4

I don't think it is necessary to add a source regarding this on her article. I believe there is a source regarding this on the article of President of Chile, if there isn't then I'll add it.

I messaged Mattythewhite on this (didn’t see he wasn’t an admin). Requesting your assistance in the UEFA Champions League article. There is an editor ignoring 3RR rules. He’s reverted four times, so is edit warring, and refuses to gain any consensus in the talk page. The material he’s inserted looks like original research, and the sourcing is also highly questionable (which includes a cite error for good measure). I was happy to put forward my view on the talk page, but since he is not interested in gaining a consensus and inserts anyway it’s a pointless exercise. Why don't you gain a consensus before removing it? I mean, the information I added - the first time two European champions met - is bloody relevant to the article, at least as much as the information about the Austro-Hungarian Challenge Cup that appears in the article.

You for some reason believe that the first meeting between European champions is not relevant to an article fully dedicated to games between European champions, fair enough... you can try and argue your point on the talk page.

"As I mentioned in the UCL talk page, the 'world championship' article you included is more in line with the world club championship" - Yes, but no. This wasn't a game between teams from different continents, they were from the same continent. If anything, you might argue it's relevant to both.

You won't find a direct link between the Champions League and the Mitropa cup either (both only relevant to Austro-Hungaria... before and after), and yet they're mentioned, and they should be, because it's all part of the events preceding to the creation of a tournament bringing together European champions.

If you want to help with the sourcing (let's be honest, there are sources online... not loads, but there are), great, but you just choose to remove it and edit war. Maxim.il89 (talk) 00:16, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

I deleted two sentences on the "Me to We" article because the sentences are not about Me to We. They are about We Charity and We Day, which are covered in separate articles on Wikipedia. (A lot of people make this mistake, and it is understandable.) We Day was organized by We Charity, not Me to We. Further evidence: The citations for the two deleted sentences focus on We Charity and We Day. In addition, the sentences are written in passive voice, which is less relevant to the reason they should be deleted, but a signal nonetheless that there is a lot of work that needs to be done on this article, which I am discovering as I research this topic and check citations. What exactly do you hope to accomplish with these decade long blocks?

How exactly does this block and this block benefit Wikipedia? Just like guns don't shoot people, IP addresses don't vandalize Wikipedia. People shoot people and vandalize Wikipedia. It's easy enough to watch a school district's range and clean up any garbage that gets missed AND clean up the after school garbage from the same students (or staff...) on the same article. It's not so easy to do that when the school IPs are blocked and they do the same nonsense at an off hour from their home IP and the RC patrols miss it. At that point, the vandalism stays on Wikipedia until some passer by sees it (and then when the passer by is from a school or some other network that you or someone else decided to block for a decade, they can't even fix it without an account). Will you please undelete this and undo the AFD closure? An SPA was edit warring to blank it to get around the active discussion (toward deletion) at AFD and this will just further waste time allowing a G7 when consensus is leaning toward delete, since they can just recreate it. Hi, regarding Special:Contributions/60.53.213.119, that's surely this LTA: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/2001:E68:540E:6C84:B039:7333:ECD0:B8FC/Archive, e.g. [6], [7]. Just wondering if there's some reason to not just revert all their edits? Quite a few are still in place. They do throw in some "good" edits with the vandalism, but I wouldn't trust anything they write. Found out the votes winning candidate and the losing candidate received. I cited sources. And you find all this 'not constructive'. Your definition of 'constructive' is strange. I have been banned from editing the Warner Archive page. I had edited the type of media disc used to create Warner Archive films. These are commercially authentic dvd discs. They are not burned on dvd-r discs. This is a false statement. Please unban me so I may edit the page to correct this error. Or please correct this error. The discs are NOT dvd-r. They are not blue on the mirrored side. They do not read as dvd-r media in a dvd player.

Heritability of IQ

Hello, The sentence on the page 'Heritability of IQ' "The current scientific consensus is that there is no evidence for a genetic component behind IQ differences between racial groups.[13][14][15][16][17]" is just wrong. The fact that a few references are given does not make it a scientific consensus. There is a multitude of anthropologists, IQ researchers, psychologists who could establish that human brains evolved differently from race to race, and that this is supported by different racial averages in IQ scores. We should leave ideology and political correctness aside and recognize this scientific fact as such.

It appears to me that the process that flags content removal might have been in error, as the series of edits appears to have only added material and taken none away. What do you think?
