- It has nothing to do with respect. Look at Polish Wikipedia – there, the articles about Stockholm and Lisboa and New York have titles in Polish. That is not disrespectful against Swedes or Portuguese people or Americans, because of course the Polish-language Wikipedia should use Polish-language names.
