Amirthaa Dairy is a major dairy company based in Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1984 by R. Mohanasundaram with an initial investment of ₹750.[1]

As of 2024, Amirthaa Dairy operates a state-of-the-art facility capable of processing 500,000 litres of milk daily. The company produces a wide range of fresh milk and dairy products, which are distributed across India.[citation needed]

Leadership[edit]

The company is currently led by Dhayalan Mohanasundaram, who serves as the Joint Managing Director.[citation needed] Under his leadership, Amirthaa Dairy has continued to expand its operations and market presence.[citation needed]

Financial performance[edit]

In 2024, Amirthaa Dairy reported a turnover of ₹485 crore. The company has set an ambitious target to reach ₹1,000 crore in turnover by 2028.[citation needed]

Corporate social responsibility[edit]

Amirthaa Dairy supports over 15,000 farmers in its supply chain. The company has also established the "Amirthaa Dairy Employee's Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society" to provide financial assistance to its employees.[citation needed]
