Summer Universiade appearances

Finland participated at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan, from 19 to 30 August 2017. The team won one gold medal – by Ari-Pekka Liukkonen in the men's 50 metre freestyle swimming event – and three other medals in athletics events.

Athletes were selected by the High Performance Unit of the Finnish Olympic Committee. Criterium was the potential to place in the top 16 in an individual event or the top 8 in a team event.[1]

The first 41 nominations were published on 19 June 2017.[1] The complete team, except the men's basketball team, was published on 27 July 2017.[2] The basketball team was published on 13 August 2017.[3]
