He hails from [[Jalgaon district]] in the Khandesh region of [[Maharashtra]] state. Haribhau Jawale is a silent and low profile leader who has won the elections in very critical conditions with record break victory . He is a visionary leader who has 1. demanded for an IIM in Maharashtra in 2011 2. Started dialogue and followed up for Flood Canal scheme in Satpura (Jalgaon ) to increase the under ground water level in the area 3. He was elected to the [[14th Lok Sabha]] in April, 2007 in a by-election from [[Jalgaon (Lok Sabha constituency)|Jalgaon constituency]] in Maharashtra. He was re-elected to the [[15th Lok Sabha]] from [[Raver (Lok Sabha constituency)|Raver constituency]] in Maharashtra.
