  • 15:1115:11, 20 October 2020 diff hist +47 m Church of Notre-Dame, Versailles→‎History: I have attempted to clarify what the French Ministry of culture wanted to say when it inappropriately chose the word "Neoclassical" as the form of architecture. This church (my former Parish) is an example of the Baroque (in English) but under the form of Baroque known as "Classicism" (especially in France). It is a more restrained version of the Baroque with a more classical approach, and predates Neoclassicism.
