Someone ought to dart through here and add a few citations needed on the points made - thanks!

Literary Reference

[edit]

I am not ready to do an edit of this article, but it is interesting that novels The Cuckoo's Calling, The Silkworm, and Career of Evil, crime fiction by J. K. Rowling, published under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, have the protagonist, a private detective named Cormoran Strike who works and lives above this club. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mherr (talkcontribs) 21:52, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sobbing

[edit]

It breaks my heart they shut down this place. They used to have a bartender who told me she stopped studying because working at the 12 Bar was just so much more fun.

Why is https://www.12barclub.com/ among the external links? It has nothing to do with the 12 Bar Club. 31.49.9.144 (talk) 19:32, 25 November 2019 (UTC)\[reply]

Hiya well spotted! Someone must have stopped paying for the domain name of the website, so it's been "squatted." I've now added an archived version of the actual site, the wayback machine is handy for that if you don't already know it. Mujinga (talk) 15:36, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
