References

[edit]

I wrote the report basing on old footage of the race, but I think a Youtube video is not enough as reference. Can someone add the right reference from Mike Lang's Grand Prix, and check I wrote things right? Also, it would be appreciated if you find out the correct lap number for Rindt's fastest lap. I've added the lang reference and corrected the fastest lap. Note that the infobox template currently doesn't display the lap on which the fastest lap was set, even if the field is populated. DH85868993 (talk) 07:34, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Weather

[edit]

Weather is listed here as "sunny and warm," but we all wore jackets that morning walking the track so it was cool and you can see many other people wearing light coats at racetime. We were in the Army, on leave down from Germany, and got great seats at Tabac. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.152.216.213 (talk) 03:28, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Without wishing to question your personal experience, reliable sources Motor Sport magazine and Mike Lang's Grand Prix! Vol 2 (page 119) give the weather as "Warm (,dry) and sunny" and Wikipedia:Verifiability requires us to reflect the information published in reliable sources.
