Red Wings point total

[edit]

I corrected the erroneous information in the opening paragraph regarding the Red Wings' 131 points being the highest point total in NHL history to say it was the second-highest. The highest point total in NHL history belongs to the dominant 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens, who edged the 95-96 Red Wings by a single point. I also added info about how this year's Western final was the starting point for the Avs-Wings rivalry. Thanks. Gujuguy 17:23, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Last Year Stanley Cup Champion Failed to Qualify for the Playoffs the Following Season

[edit]

Seeing as the Carolina Hurricanes have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, it's probably time to change this statement in the opening paragraph —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.216.186.123 (talk) 18:23, 7 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Finals

[edit]

The Devils did not make the playoffs. IT looks like the Stanley Cup Final series was that of 1995. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.141.57.98 (talk) 00:39, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Standings

[edit]

There are standings from both the 1994-95 NHL season and the 1995-96 NHL season. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.169.250.103 (talk) 22:50, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Colorado conference rank

[edit]

The Avs were #2 this season, not #1. Not sure how the NHL standings templates work or I'd edit it ... Zlionsfan (talk) 01:01, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
