Identified?

[edit]

According to CNN (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/06/13/911.hijacker/index.html), there was a recent announcement that the 20th hijacker was "Turki bin Fheid al-Muteiri" (I have no clue what the actual Arabic spelling is) by an "Islamist Web site."

20th hijacker identified 20/06/06

[edit]

According to BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/5101954.stm), its being announced that the 20th hijacker was "Fawaz al-Nashimi"

explanation

[edit]

I reverted this edit. The contributor making this edit, was laboring under the misconception that Mohammed al Qahtani didn't arrive in Guantanamo until 2006. The fourteen high value detainees arrived on September 5 2006. The CIA has acknowledged torturing some of them. But Mohammed al Qahtani was tortured while in military custody, not civilian custody. The record shows he arrived in Guantanamo in early 2002. His first weigh-in at Guantanamo was on February 13, 2002. Geo Swan (talk) 09:46, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing person in see also?

[edit]

This edit added a missing person under See Also as someone who was sometimes posited as the 20th hijacker. A few internet searches turned up really only one related result that was a speculation thread on Reddit with little follow up. Any comments on whether the claims or posits of this connection are substantial enough to warrant mention on this page? Emann15 (talk) 22:48, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
