Inconsistency

Why did Shirley Booth "pass away", while Dick Shawn merely "died"? I can understand not wanting to sound repetitive, but come on! --Pizzadinosaur (talk) 13:11, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Animation

[edit]

This special looked like the same kind of stop-motion animation as the original, but was it? ABC-Family's website says it was done "in the style of" stop-motion, but my wife thinks it was CGI done to look like stop-motion. McGehee (talk) 19:52, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No Way, this was Stop motion, it was just better stop motion than the Rankin and Bass films —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.115.10.131 (talk) 02:39, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Too bad everything else about it was inferior.  ;-) McGehee (talk) 22:40, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia Error

[edit]

The following says:

Mother Nature points out that the North Pole is under North Wind's control. However, in the previous film, Mrs. Claus says the North Pole is under Snow Miser's control.

Mrs. Claus says Snow Miser controls the northern part of the world. Not the North Pole.

Mother Nature

[edit]

Okay, I've looked for awhile now, but I can't find who voiced Mother Nature. It sounded a lot like Felicia Rashad, but I can't be certain. Who is it? Rapier (talk) 03:12, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

lead paragraph

[edit]

the lead paragraph says that this was the third and final tv special from Rankin Bass. It might have been the final, but it was certainly not the third...they made dozens before this.... user:PurpleChez — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.118.65.34 (talk) 22:41, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
