Alfred Wolf should be considered noteworthy enough for inclusion because the United States Navy saw fit to name a ship after him after his actions in a particularly vicious World War II convoy battle, for which he received a letter of commendation. I have rewritten the article to highlight this, and have linked it to the corresponding ship article. If the U.S. Navy thought Seaman First Class Wolf was worth naming a ship after, I think Wikipedia editors should give him the benefit of the doubt and allow his inclusion. I have given this article a stub tag so that anyone who can uncover details of his particular exploits will note a requirement to expand this article further.
