Removal of unsourced personal information

[edit]

In this edit, I have removed from the article the whole "background" section of the article. It was unsourced, and dealt with personal matters, so per WP:BLP I felt that it should not remain unless sources were added. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:03, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname

[edit]

According to today's The Times, her nickname among fellow MPs is 'Brienne of Tarth', but that it probably too interesting for Wikipedia.86.152.28.236 (talk) 11:46, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'll add it if you have a link to the source (I couldn't find it). Zacwill (talk) 12:45, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tallest Woman MP?

[edit]

Noticing infobox gives her height as 6 ft 4.5 inches, does that make her the tallest woman MP in Parliament? (Seems unlikely she had taller predecessors.)Cloptonson (talk) 22:10, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestor

[edit]

Samuel Sandbach - the slave-owner, merchant and former mayor of Liverpool etc - appears to be an ancestor via the Hafodunos estate connection. He bought it in 1830 and his son, Henry Robert Sanbach, had the place rebuilt. - Sitush (talk) 22:10, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, as documented here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-66648763
Could this be added? I think it probably should, but another reference for Mr. Al Nasir's work should probably be found. HitchhikerAN (talk) 06:15, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I also see there is a reference to her on Samuel Sandbach's page (See also), but I couldn't find any reference of him on this page, at the time of writing. At any rate, I think her asking to be removed from Al Nasir's work should most likely be added. HitchhikerAN (talk) 06:18, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
