Hello author of Barotac Nuevo history. My haunch that the correct former name of our dearest "Footbal" town was Malutac instead of Mulatac. I could be wrong but please check it out. I would also like to commend you for writing the article. Sincerely, Bernardo P. Siaotong, Jr.

I THANK MR. SIAOTONG FOR MENTIONING BAROTAC NUEVO AS A "FOOTBALL" TOWN. IN FACT WE ARE RECOGNIZED AS THE FOOTBALL CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES. OUR PASSION FOR THE GAME IS COMPARABLE TO THAT OF ANY EUROPEAN OR SOUTH AMERICAN CITY, LONG BEFORE FOOTBALL MANIA EMERGED IN THE COUNTRY VERY RECENTLY. CAPT.
