The text says: "This was the only major European battle in which both sides employed Indian war elephants." Though the diadochii had a Makedonian i.e. European background, it is somewhat problematic to call this battle a European one as it clearly took place in Asia.--Proofreader 20:41, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
