Studying

[edit]

i'm studying the eskimos and aleuts, and i'm studying the bering sea as a part of this research. Gringo300 06:57, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bering's nationality

[edit]

Bering was in the Russian service at the time of his exploration of the sea. In this context, he was no more Danish than George Washington was British...

But George Washington was born in America, not in Britain. Wiki3857 20:12, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Imarpik

[edit]

What is this Imarpik thing? It was added by an anonymous user a long time ago without an explanation.

I can't find a proper answer on google. The Catalan Wikipedia says that's it the Yupik name of the sea.

A better explanation would be very nice. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 21:51, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Main image is unclear

[edit]

The main imagine needs to be changed, it is just a mass of clouds over an unclear selection of water and land. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.164.243 (talk) 22:57, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
