Where was he born?

[edit]

The lead sentence describes Jones as being born in Armadale, but there are (at least) two places with that name in Australia, and one more place with a similar name differently spelled. I suspect that Jones was born in Armadale, Western Australia, but I would like an editor who knows for sure to make the change. Darcyj 23:28, 3 February 2007 (UTC) Definitely Armadale in Western Australia. I was there in the room when he made his debut into the world, so I should know! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.148.229.220 (talk) 07:27, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 08:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Height

[edit]

Brad Jones' height is listed as 1.91m by Liverpool FC and Premier League. I propose switching the display to metres first for the following reasons:

  • It would then be consistent with the usage of Liverpool FC.
  • It would then be consistent with the overwhelming majority of Liverpool FC player profiles. (All but one of the rest are metric first.)
  • It would then be consistent with Australian usage. (Brad is Australian.)

Please indicate if you agree with this change. Michael Glass (talk) 01:08, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the change. QED237 (talk) 11:16, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with listing Jones's height in metric first. I concur not becuase that is what the Premier League and Liverpool provide, but because Jones is Australian, therefore his personal article is not germaine to the UK. — Jkudlick tcs 02:40, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Changed as proposed. Michael Glass (talk) 21:56, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
