Questionable fact?

[edit]

The last sentence in the lead paragraph read "the size of the whole Cameron Highlands district is roughly two and a quarter times the size of Singapore." There wasn't a citation to support it, and seeing that the listed area is 712km², it would by logical extension be the same and not that much larger than Singapore's (710km²). I decided to cut the sentence and place it here. If you want to add it back, ensure the fact is correct and is corroborated by a reliable source. Rafflesia is endemic to the Cameron Highlands

[edit]

Is there a source for this statement (see subtitle of image of the flower)? I can find many species of this flower in Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. See: Rafflesia#Verified_species --Heeeey (talk) 07:27, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Travel Guide

[edit]

Yikes! This article has become even more like a travel guide since September of last year [1]. I'll try and revamp it if I have time; in the meantime, I've re-tagged it, and any help would be appreciated! Airplaneman 23:36, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please remove all of those advertisement-related wordings. Chongkian (talk) 07:10, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

News listing section

[edit]

Is the news listing on the references section necessary? The listing listed quite a lot, but none of it were cited in any of the section above. Should it be trimmed or remove the whole list altogether? Looks more like WP:EXCESSIVECITATION but excessive uncited references instead. WPSamson (talk) 03:38, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll remove it - the rest of the article is reasonably well cited as is. QueensanditsCrazy (talk) 15:58, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to combine articles

[edit]

Looking at the contents on these pages: Landmarks in Cameron Highlands and Settlements in Cameron Highlands, I feel like they are a bit too random to just stand alone and would be better to be subsumed under this article. What do you think? Is that acceptable? --FikkuFiq 15:19, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
