Page expansion

[edit]

I have done some expansion on the article please feel free to provide any suggestions

I have removed "Chimpanzee's" from the example of species that are housed in the Primate Building as they were moved to the Knoxville Zoo in Tennessee. I also updated the wolf lodge section since the three grey wolves are no longer on exhibit but now contains 6 Mexican Grey Wolves. Cheetah incident

[edit]

I added the cheetah incident at the zoo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4700:2D30:502C:4489:D20B:F92F (talk) 15:28, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A Personal Mission

[edit]

Allow me to begin by saying that I am new to editing Wikipedia. Being a born-and-raised Clevelander, I (rather randomly) decided to read this article and was woefully disappointed with what I found. For the past few days, I have: edited the article for grammar and syntax; added new information; updated the existing information to reflect the current state of the zoo; and did my best to incorporate more links and references throughout. I also tried to use more "prose-like" diction while still remaining true to the encyclopedic nature of Wikipedia.

Would anyone be willing to glance over and critique the new article? As I mentioned before, I am new to editing Wikipedia and I'm not sure if my alterations are considered too "colorful" or overly detailed for this setting. Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Cleveland Metroparks Zoo/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The page needs more refs generally everywhere. The history section needs more references the exhibits subsection could be turned into prose. Other parts of the article including the section about daycare and some of the exhibit information read somewhat like advertisements and in some cases are more detailed than necessary. Keep up the good work. §hep¡Talk to me! 01:40, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
