Jewish population of Los Angeles

[edit]

It is pretty notable how little this article mentions the large Los Angeles Jewish community. There is a note that Jews had arrived in Los Angeles in the 1890's, and a link to an article on the History of Jews in Los Angeles. Considering that (per the article on the History of Jews in Los Angeles) 17.5% of the population of Los Angeles is Jewish, much more treatment is warranted.

Also, while I'm on the subject, the History of the Jew in Los Angeles article notes that the first Jew in LA was Jakob Frankfort, arriving in 1841. This is confirmed by station KCRW: https://www.kcrw.com/culture/shows/design-and-architecture/jews-and-the-development-of-los-angeles The arrival date should also be updated.
