Missing Characters?

[edit]

It would appear that 130B characters 8, 9, and A are missing from the chart. Would this be due to what those characters are meant to be, resulting in a lack of implementation due to concerns of inappropriateness? 24.144.62.191 (talk) 19:36, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, WP:Wikipedia is not censored. The problem is your OS provider (Microsoft?): some prude decided for you what it is that you may see. See "12 Egyptian Hieroglyphs of People and Their Body Parts". The Collector. (section 7). [afaIcs, Google Chrome on both Android and Chromebook displays ok, so presumably it is just Ms Windows.]
Can you see D52, D52A, D53 at Gardiner's sign list#D. Parts of the human body and List of Egyptian hieroglyphs#D? --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:45, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rotation variants not rendering for me?

[edit]

Hi - I've added a table with the rendered rotational variants using the html entities - e.g. 𓂓︀ but it's still rendering as the standard variant with 0° rotation.

Have I done something wrong with the HTML, or is it just my browser being silly? Timtjtim (talk) 20:35, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Probably a font issue. I'm not sure if any fonts support variation selectors yet. DRMcCreedy (talk) 00:07, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
