I have been an in house counsel for the companies that produced Euclid trucks for the last 35 years and feel that the entry in widkpedia does not do justice to the past and present efforts of the employees of the ocmpany that still produces these trucks today.

Proposed merge from Euclid Earthmoving

[edit]

Having discovered from Euclid (disambiguation) that Euclid Trucks were 'not described on WP', I found Euclid Earthmoving using the search facility and started processing it. I then discovered there was a TYPO at Euclid (disambiguation) (now corrected), and that I'd been wasting my time. Aargh!

The page at Euclid Earthmoving is almost certainly just a very small chunk of Euclid Trucks. It is doubtful whether the main text contains anything not already covered here. HOWEVER, you will find two useful external links (added today by me) that may be added to this page – in particular, the history of Euclid between 1968 and 1984 when it was part-owned by Volvo Construction Equipment. (This history page includes links to pages on 22 Euclid models, with photos and tech specs!!)

I strongly suggest that the pages should be 'merged'.

(When copying across the Categories just now, I copied the External Links too to save time! --EdJogg 10:49, 8 March 2007 (UTC) )[reply]

For what it's worth I also strongly agree the page merger should be done Dracontes 13:37, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
