Fairy in India

[edit]

Fairy liquid is not available in India yet. However, it's competitors are all present.

[edit]

removed as nothing to do with the brand 81.151.152.186, 27 April 2007

Actually the link had everything to do with the brand, so I have restored it

Summary section obviously incorrect

[edit]

The summary section is obviously incorrect and facetious.

Fun with Fairy

[edit]

I removed the text below:

On an episode of the television show Mythbusters, Fairy was mixed with methane, causing an enormous flammable bubble tower.

Considering Mythbusters is filmed in the US, I would bet they used Joy or Dawn brand dishwashing liquid, since "Fairy Washing Up Liquid" isn't really common, here. --Mdwyer 04:21, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dreft brand?

[edit]

"Outside the UK, the products are a part of the Dreft brand." - I live in Germany and have a bottle of Fairy right here, the brand name Dreft however is nowhere to be found. Manufactor address reads Procter & Gamble International Operations SA. Will remove that sentence, if it really is part of the Dreft brand in some countries, please specify. :-) -- 95.118.0.60 (talk) 15:06, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The logo looks like Cascade, another Procter and Gamble product, reminiscent of the situation with Edy's/Dreyer's or Hellman's/Best Foods having nearly identical packaging apart from the name and made by the same company, but sold in different regions. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 23:04, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Relation to Cascade?

[edit]

I had never heard of Fairy. I am in the United States. The logo looks essentially the same as that of Cascade, another Proctor & Gamble product. Could the above poster be correct and the product be an alternate name for Cascade rather than Dreft much like the Edy's/Dreyer's thing?--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 20:30, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
