Need for citation

[edit]

The unanimous agreement of economists that the Fed is independent needs a citation that shows that. Right now the citation shows that economists believe that the Fed would be worse if governors were primarily chosen on partisan grounds, but that doesn’t imply that Economist believe that the president has no control over the Fed after appointment, so it can’t be concluded that economists also believe in an independent Fed unanimously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:3940:5820:CE9:9BCD:1BE5:9B3B (talk) 12:43, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
