Merge with BEA Systems

[edit]

This is a pretty small page. Could we merge it into BEA systems? WP:CORP#Recommendations_for_products_and_services:

"Information on products and services should generally be included in the article on the company itself, unless the company is so large that this would make the article unwieldy".Saganaki- 06:34, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disagree :) I think it needs more info adding, but I wouldn't merge it into BEA systems. I've done a little to add some more detail around what JRockit is. BEA are very cagey about what JRockit is so it is tricky. Hopefully more to follow, hopefully more people will add more too. regards Pete.

jRockit no longer free

[edit]

It seems that the licensing has changed for JRockit. Could anyone find references to confirm this so licensing information can be added? A history would be helpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.106.209.187 (talk) 18:27, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK it's still free, it's just a bit difficult to find it on the Oracle site. I get a download link at this page currently: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/jrockit/index.html -- Kristleifur (talk) 15:09, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Got a new statement from Oracle blog. Anyone interested may wish to verify it. http://blogs.oracle.com/henrik/entry/jrockit_is_now_free_and --Kittyhawk2 (talk) 02:46, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
