Controversy section

[edit]

The text as it stands entirely depends on a tiny, strongly POV source. And the claim (presented as fact) that the information was "well available" is contradicted by readily accessible reports. On top of that the source refers to the former suspect Abdelmajid Touil, whose guilt hasn't been proven and who has been later released for lack of evidence. Citing him, even indirectly, as evidence " of Muslims Jihadists travelling with, or disguised as, immigrants to the European Union" seems to presume him guilty. I suggest that the current content is removed and that the section will be either filled with sourceable, relevant controversial material or deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.229.168.165 (talk) 11:25, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Balancing opinions stated in the article on the Article 7 report

[edit]

Concerned with the tone of the article (see latest version before my edition today at 16h29) which very strangely echoed Orban government's attacks on Judith Sargentini and her report, I took the liberty to write counter opinions under the concerned part. I added an element proving that she has been at the center of a smearing campaign.

You will note that I have not deleted a single of the previous arguments against her, apart from some nuancing. I have been careful as to not have my edits labelled a conflict of interest as I am currently working as administrative staff for the European Parliament.

I trust the regular editors to edit and remove in order to bring as much neutrality to this page as possible. NoeudGordien (talk) 15:29, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
