Number of verses[edit]

I've deleted a stray note which read "21388 verses". This may well be correct, but as it stood was not integrated with the text. Also (this is just my suspicion) since the editions are based on multiple mss, all of them with slight differences, the article's current round estimate ("more than 21,000 verses") may in a sense be more correct than any specific number. Proposed merge of Somadeva into Kathasaritsagara[edit]

Little in the article about the author, who is known for one work Kathasaritsagara. Suggest to have a section in the Kathasaritsagara article about the author. Redtigerxyz ^Talk 06:48, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

there isn't a ton of info on the Somadeva Bhatt page right now. However, I think it's still worth keeping it separate. Even with limited information, having a dedicated page allows for future expansion and gives readers a clear focus on his life and contributions. Flyleaf123 (talk) 05:06, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
